So Many Apples!

I went camping with my Dad recently. We had a great time, aside from the throwing up in his car (managed to leave it clean!). If you someone asks you to kiss the devil, don't do it. But do buy apples. We got a peck from an orchard in Bedford, VA. I needed something to do with those apples so I made something with a recipe my mom uses. She makes cobbler by smothering fruit with a mixture that is 1 cup milk, 1 cup flour, and one cup sugar. The result is a cake-like cobbler thing. It's delicious. So I chopped up the apples, put pumpkin pie spice all over them, and then poured the magic mixture over them. I wasn't sure what temperature to cook them at so I did 25 min @ 350. Not enough. How about 25 min @ 375? Still not enough. How about 15 min @ 375? Done. So it takes longer and at a higher temperature than expected. I have more apples to get this right.

May The Leaves Fall on Your...

I love Fall. Everything about it. I especially love the leaves. I also loves hair accessories that are over the top. To combine the two would be divine. So I went to Michael's and I found this fall leave garland on sale and bought it. I came home and made this. It was easy, just a matter of tape. Next up, Christmas! Oh, and my hair is purple again. What is it with purple hair and crafting?
